We love this place. Food is top-notch, everywhere is always kept clean and tidy and the staff are so nice and friendly.

I attended my first introductory session of spin cycling the other evening, and I was thoroughly impressed.
Booking in as a guest user was simple.
Ben my friendly and experienced instructor put me as a novice completely at ease from the moment I walked in.
He took time to explain everything, ensure I was happy before I started.
During his hi paced, fun and engaging work out,Ben checked regularly all participants were safe and ok.
The workout and Bens direction, pushed me in a way that I hadn’t been able to achieve personally before.
The session flew by and I felt proud of my efforts and enthused to continue my “spinning” journey.

Well done Ben and everyone at the Herrongate Leisure centre for making me feel welcome and supported.

Staff here are always very friendly and helpful. The pool is ok but quite small so when people decide to sit on the edge or just stand in it around the sides chatting loudly in groups, it really hinders you from getting any swimming done. A clearer and more consistent policy on what the pool is for (swimming not socialising) should be posted or communicated to members/users.

Lovely and clean, superb sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and pool. Excellent changing rooms with decent shower cubicles, shampoo etc., supplied in case you forget your own.
A very well fitted out gym with plenty of equipment.
The cafè does lovely coffee and cake too!

Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is always very relaxed and welcoming, which is refreshing when you aren't a natural 'gym guru' and to be honest- I'm just rather out of shape!
Also having never been brave enough to join any class at previous gyms, I can say I'm throughly enjoying getting involved with those too (and I'm actually getting quite addicted to them).
Highly recommend Herongate to anyone of any age or ability!

We joined this club when we moved to the area 2 years ago . The gym is well equipped clean and has a good range of cardio and resistance equipment , the staff are lovely, friendly and very approachable We haven’t used the pool much but for no reason other than we usually have plans after our work out I have used it a few times and it’s a good temperature and very clean as are the changing rooms . There is also a cafe on the top floor which had a good variety of food and drinks in a modern bright environment we are very pleased to be members of such a great place to work out in a friendly environment All in all we love coming here
