I am so pleased I joined Fit20 about 18 months ago. I needed to feel strong and had never been to a gym before. Fit 20 have really helped me to work through injuries that I brought with me and worked at a pace that has given me confidence and strength. I am so lucky to have Matt training me as he challenges me and shows me how I am improving. I love feeling stronger these days.

Well I’m 6 years in to training at Fit20 which pretty much says it all really. This morning because of the floods I didn’t make it but Iestyn did which typifies the commitment of the trainers at Fit20. I have have various trainers over the years all of which have helped through my business travel times, a broken hip and Covid. If you delve into your stats, now available online, you can easily track your progress, I can’t quite believe that my strength continues to increase at 65 years old!

I Joined Fit20 a few months ago as my good friend had been going for I think two years And recommended it .I have osteoporosis and kept falling and breaking limbs So I want to strengthen my bones and create some Muscle. Resistance training is constantly being advised for older people ( 77 In my case). Although I’m not Particularly overweight , people have commented that I Look slimmer - I think I’m just more toned as a result of the training. It’s the first time I’ve been to a gym and I enjoyed myself!

I was so sceptical about Fit20 in the beginning, but now, four years later, I’m so pleased I took the plunge and gave it a go! Some of the health benefits are more obvious than others, like not suffering with lower back pain anymore, and generally feeling much stronger. In the past I struggled to attend a regular gym, but 20 minutes per week at Fit20 with a personal trainer is hard work but absolutely doable. The trainers are so knowledgeable, personable and encouraging, and Yestyn our new trainer hits the spot on all levels and it feels like he’s been doing the job for years! And apart from all the personal health benefits, I’ve made a new friend of my gym buddy who I share the session with and we both look forward to a relaxing chat and coffee in the nearby Starbucks after all our hard work!

The studio has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, which makes it perfect for people who don’t enjoy busy gyms. Everything is done one-to-one with a trainer, so you always feel supported and motivated. In a short time I noticed real improvements in strength and energy.

I've been training once a week with fit20 for over two years now and have certainly noticed an improvement in my strength, overall fitness and general wellbeing. Amongst other benefits, my weekly workouts have helped me overcome back issues and strengthened my dodgy knee.
I've never stuck at any kind of fitness routine as long as I have with this one, because you really can't justify not doing 20 minutes a week and when you've booked in with a personal trainer you make the effort to show up! I persuaded my husband to give it a go a year ago and he's a convert too.
I have found Duncan and his whole team to be incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and supportive and the studio is always spotlessly clean. Even during the months of lockdown, we carried on our training by Zoom from home and that definitely maintained our strength and fitness (and helped keep our spirits up!) for when we able to return to the studio.
I would not hesitate to recommend fit20 in Exeter.
